TLS's Owner/Operator
Marie
LeBlanc earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the General
Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, an MBA from Nichols College
in Dudley, MA, and worked as Director of North American Sales
for various hi-tech manufacturers.
But when she experienced the stress of spending nights and weekends
sorting, packing, selling, and disposing of personal property
following the death of a loved one, Marie knew her mission was
to lift the same burden from others facing this difficult task.
In fact, that's the reason she started Transitions Liquidation
Services.
Marie LeBlanc, who lives in Harvard, Massachusetts, serves on
the Steering Committee of the Women's Business Network, and is
on the Board of Directors of Fruitlands Museums where she is chair
of the museum's Development Fundraising Committee.
She is an active member of St. Theresa's Parish in Harvard, serving
at various times as a greeter, Children's Liturgy Coordinator,
coffee shop hostess, and more. The TLS president also volunteers
for charity and school functions such as the annual book sale,
the Sixth Grade Party, and the Harvard PTA Fall Gala. In her spare
time, she enjoys reading historical novels and creating silk flower
arrangements, bouquets, coursages, and boutonières.
